Possible wing from flight MH370 found.

A portion of an aircraft wing has been found on Reunion Island that may be part of the MH370 plane that went missing March 8th.  The plane was last seen on radar turning off course.  No debris has ever been found and million of dollars across a dozen country have been spent looking for the wreckage on the ocean floor.  Conspiracy theorist has come up with all sorts of outrageous thoeries of government cover ups to terrorism and alien abductions.

Maybe this wing will come up as a positive match and family give these family some closure as they know what the final outcome was for the plane.  It may even lend a clue as to where the plane went down.  Only time will tell what the researchers will find.

Jake's Wayback Burgers Irving

A new burger restaurant called Jake's Wayback Burgers opened in Irving.  This restaurant is located on Riverside and Royal next to the 7 Eleven gas station.  This burger restaurant opened only a few days ago.  I work about a quarter mile from this location so I decided I would give it a try.

Before I give you my review you must know that I went into the restaurant with extremely high hopes.  The food looks amazing and I was sure this was going to be my new favorite burger joint.  I went to the restaurant July 15th.  The first thing I noticed was that I was the only person in the restaurant that was a customer.  There were about a dozen Wayback Burger executives that were admiring the restaurant, taking pictures and discussing business.

I stood in front of the cash register for about 2 minutes while an employee was doing something with the cash register.  It was awkward because she never acknowledged me.  I could see that she was busy doing something but I felt like I was being ignored or that she just couldn't even see me past whatever she was doing.  A simple smile or something like "I'll be with you in a second" would have been nice.  No big deal right.

Next I ordered the Burger of the Month the All American Burger.  I got the combo 2 which is a side of fries and a medium drink the total was 11.64.  I started to regret my order as I saw two fairly small patties hit the grill.  I got my drink and watched as my burger cooked.  After cooking for about 4 to 5 minutes they put the fries in the fryer.  The burger was done but the fries were not.  I had to wait an additional 3-4 minutes for the fries to finish cooking.  Timing these a little better would have made me a lot happier.  Instead of about a 5 minute wait time, I had about a 10. When I got to work I find a pretty average sized amount of fries, nothing close to what you would expect for almost 12 bucks.  The fries were pretty tasty, cooked just about perfect to my liking.  They are soft medium thick fries.  The burger was good but nothing special.  In fact the extras such as the friend jalapenos were lacking flavor and used sparingly.

So how do I rate Jake's Wayback Burgers in Irving?  The food by itself was pretty good.  It wasn't what I hoped for but it was tasty.  The fries were just perfect for how I like them.  The price was too high for what I got.  I would happily return if what I got was around 9.50 but for 11.64 I just simply cant see my self going back often.  Plus there are atleast half a dozen burger restaurants within a few miles that are cheaper or better.  Five Guys, In and Out burger, Wendy's, Steak and Shake and Whataburger are some that come to mind.

You Cant Win This Answers

Lily Camera

I came across this incredible flying camera.  By placing a target beacon on yourself, Lily will follow and record video of you.  Lily will take HD video at 60 FPS and 120 FPS at 720.  Lily has a flight time of 20 minutes.

The amazing part is that you simply toss Lily in the air and she begins to fly and record video of you.  There is no controller needed.  You can set the distance she flies from you before hand and with a push of a button you can make her hover in the air while still filming.  She is also water proof so you can drop her in the water and watch her take flight even from the water.

Goliath Grouper from Kayak.

I've never Kayak fished.  And I have never caught a Goliath Grouper.  I certainly would never think about trying to land a big Goliath Grouper in a Kayak.  This is a pretty cool video.  Im glad these fish are making a come back.  They were wiped out in the 80's and 90's from over fishing, but now with protected status these fish are making a good come back.

New Missouri Record Striper

Found this article today.  A new record Striped Bass was caught in Missouri.  This fished weighed in at a whopping 65.2 pounds.  I had no idea Striper got that large.  It was caught in Bulls Shoals Lake on the southern border of Missouri.  It was officially weighed and is the current record.

Texas Heat!

A storm was heading in to north Texas last night so I checked my weather app and noticed that the temperature was registering 113 and a feels like temperature of 304.  I guess Texas heat feels like hell sometimes.  In reality I think the temp was around the 70's all night long.
